At the beginning of our journey, we will travel along the beautiful coastline of the Montenegrin Adriatic, to the largest coastal city in Montenegro — the city of Bar. Upon arriving in Bar, we will head to the railway station, where the real adventure begins. We’ll board the train for a ride along one of the most beautiful mountain railway routes in the world! The construction of this railway began in 1952 and became a true engineering feat of Yugoslavia. The work continued for nearly a quarter of a century. In total, the road was built over 24 years, and it’s no surprise: it passes through an incredibly rugged terrain — mountains, ravines, canyons, and rivers, offering travelers breathtaking views of the Morača River canyon.
Upon arriving in the city of Kolasin, we are greeted by professional drivers with jeeps, and the next part of our adventure begins — a jeep safari through the pristine areas of the Bjelasica mountain range, which rises to 2,139 meters. The mountain's name is associated with its slopes covered in soft grass and alpine meadows, which, due to the unique shape of the terrain, are blanketed in a thick layer of sparkling white snow during the winter, giving the Bjelasica range a special beauty. This region is famous not only for its views but also for its rich flora and fauna.
